Woodham Radars FC
( Incorporating South Woodham FC & Ferrers Athletic FC )

The club was formed in 1972 to provide football for the youngsters of South Woodham Ferrers and became the first youth football club in the town.
A club name had to be agreed on, and this came out of the Marconi radar station situated on the outskirts of the village.
The club originally provided football for the under 8s to under 16s, but as the town grew and the under 16s had nowhere to go this was extended to 18 year olds. The club expanded as players got older and we extended our activities into junior, mens and veterans football.
Our aim is to encourage the youngsters of the area to develop their skills of  "the beautiful game" and would be pleased to hear from any prospective players from ages 6 to 60 ..............

Quiz Night.......

Dear All,

Saturday 6th July saw the Club hold another quiz night at the Village Hall. Once again the event was held to both encourage the social interaction of those involved in and around the Club and to raise funds enabling any financial considerations imposed on members kept to a minimum. The evening was once again a success with all present enjoying the event set before them. Many thanks go to all involved especially Ian Tidmarsh for all his efforts.

On a personal note interest in the raffle was considerably boosted with prizes kindly donated from our friends at:-
